Sally Naylor, recently authored Rogue Nirvana: Beyond Woo-Woo, a satirical memoir recounting her escapades in the world of New Age spirituality, as well as Firebird ,a story of regeneration rendered in poetry, after coping with the challenges of widowhood and cancer. She delights in mixing and moving between genres. Heresies and Sweet Basil  is a retrospect of a simpler time. Professionally, she negotiated and ultimately thrived as an independent school English teacher, counselor and curriculum developer.  Naylor’s students have had their work featured in many publications and have won numerous writing awards. In addition to teaching creative writing she initiated student peer-to-peer counseling, mediation and AIDS Ed training programs. She now lives in Coral Springs, Florida and savors her time as a life coach, writer, editor and speaker.
